A man who pleaded guilty to dragging a dog to death in western Colorado has been sentenced to three years in federal prison.
Thirty-eight-year-old Steven Clay Romero of Grand Junction was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Philip Brimmer in Denver.

A woman who, police say, bound and taped her boyfriend’s puppy to the side of a refrigerator last year was released out of jail early.

Dog attacks little girl in Colorado Springs

A Colorado Springs girl was mauled earlier today by a dog that neighbors claim was running loose.
According to Colorado Springs Police the young girl was seriously injured and was taken to Memorial Hospital with “very bad facial injuries”
