Man gets maximum jail sentence for dog abuse

The man accused in the abuse of nearly 100 sled dogs in Park County back in 2009 was sentenced in court today, and received the maximum jail sentence.
Last December Samuel Walker pleaded guilty to Felony Aggravated Animal Cruelty.

Firefighter to be recognized for saving Chihuahua in fire

The  firefighter who used mouth-to-snout resuscitation to revive a little dog last month will be recognized tonight by Dreampower Animal Rescue.
