pooppickupVolunteers are needed to help clean up the Dog Park in Bear Creek Regional Park for the annual April Stools Day Saturday, April 10.   All the park users are invited to bring their pooches and clean up all the leftover poop and trash.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon. The location is at the park off 21st Street at Rio Grande Street. Buckets, bags and rubber gloves will be provided, but participants will need to bring their own scoopers if they prefer to keep clear of the “stools”.  April Stools Day is held every year in order to keep the park and Bear Creek clean.

The park is also in need of clean up bags.   Park users are asked to save their newspaper and grocery store type bags and bring them and place them in the Red Dog House.

For more information, call Dog Park volunteer coordinator Ron Buchanan at 520-5098.
