First event is the Denver “Furry Scurry”,  a two-mile walk for animals in Washington Park at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 1.  This benefits the Denver Dumb Friends League, helping them care for more than 25,000 homeless pets every year.  The event has a bunch of fun contests and more than 100 vendors at the “Flealess Market”.  Of course, well behaved leashed pets are welcome.
