Counties are offering low cost vaccinations this weekend!

This weekend there will be a low cost vaccination clinic in Teller County. This event will be taking place the weekend of May 22nd and May 23rd from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The clinic will be held at the Hayden Park in Divide, CO. This clinic will be open to small and large animals. The Teller County Sheriff’s Office will team up with local veterinarians to offer rabies and other vaccinations at a low cost. Rabies vaccinations will cost $10 for dogs and $12 for horses. The Teller County Regional Animal Shelter will be there to issues licenses and the Pet Food Pantry will be accepting donations for all types of pets. Micro chipping and name tags will be available on site for this clinic. The Division of Wildlife will also be there to answer questions regarding bears and other wildlife. Pueblo Animal Services is hosting two clinics on May 22nd. One will be at the Avondale Fire Department on Highway 50 East,  the other will be in Penrose at D&K Feed on Highway 115. Both clinics run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost of the rabies vaccination $8.00 (CASH ONLY) , other dog and cat vaccinations will be available for $10.
