Camp Bow Wow of Colorado Springs is hosting its first annual “Casino Night to Cure Canine Cancer” from 7 to 10 p.m. on October 1st at the Phantom Canyon Brewing Company (3rd Floor) on Pikes Peak Ave.

The event aims to raise awareness and funds for three key canine cancer nonprofits including the Colorado State University’s Animal Cancer Center, the National Canine Cancer Foundation, and the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation which funds an oncology residency at the CSU Cancer Center.

So many of our clients and friends are being affected by canine cancer and we wanted to find a way to help ease their pain and the suffering of dogs around the country that are dealing with the affects of canine cancer,” said Tanya Williams, owner of three area Camp Bow Wow franchises. “The money we raise at Casino Night to Cure Canine Cancer will go to aid non-profits on the front lines of the fight against canine cancer.”

Guests at the Camp Bow Wow Colorado Springs event will enjoy appetizers and beverages as they bid on high quality silent auction items and play Vegas-style games including Roulette, Poker, Blackjack and Craps. All ticket sales, silent auction proceeds, and sale of casino chips will go to support further education, research, and treatment of canine cancer.

Tickets for Casino Night to Cure Canine Cancer event are $50, available in advance at area Camp Bow Wows or at the door. The ticket includes 2 drink tokens, delicious appetizers, a ticket for great door prizes including a free month of daycare and boarding at Camp, and a fabulous gift bag perfect for every dog lover.
