furrballThe Annual FUR~R~R BALL to benefit the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is coming up this Saturday.  The event will be at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort ;The theme, “All Creatures Great and Small”.  The theme was chosen to honor companion animals and the unconditional devotion and friendship they give us. From extra-large dogs to tiny gold fish and every furry, feathered, or scaled creature in between, the event is meant to  celebrate all creatures and hopefully to raise $175,000 for homeless animals in our community.

All proceeds from the FUR~R~R Ball directly benefit the 31,500 plus homeless animals sheltered annually at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region

furrball2The evening’s activities include a gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, the fabled Pet Parade, and the special guest speaker, Sebastian Saraceno, from Animal Planet’s popular show, “Pit Boss”. He will be on stage telling an important tale about second chances.

Children from the Colorado Springs Conservatory will be doing a special performance to honor and celebrate all creatures great and small.  This event normally sells-out so if you want to go, you better get tickets quick!  It is too late to order them online, so call (719) 473-1741 ext. 133.
