Humane Society full, but there are other options

hspprThe Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is full to capacity right now, but they have secured a secondary site to care for animals evacuated by the Waldo Canyon Fire.

HSPPR is setting up the facility and will announce its capacity, and location tomorrow morning. In the meantime here is a list of other licensed boarding facilities, many of which are taking in animals for free or a very reduced fee.

They are currently seeking monetary donations to assist in caring for the evacuated animals.  Those that need immediate kenneling assistance can contact the following locations:
