Learn to save your pet in an emergency for free!

We often learn what to do for people in the event of an emergency, but is your pet ready too?  If not you may want to head out to the “Bow Wows and Meows” event on Saturday.  It is designed to provide the community with a number of resources to help them prepare themselves and their pets for emergencies and other situations pet owners may find themselves in. red cross  Red Cross will have Pet First Aid and CPR instructors on site providing demonstrations.  “Chula”, one of the pet therapy dogs from Fort Carson and his handler will be on hand  from 11 am – 12 pm to greet visitors and answer questions about pet therapy.  There will also be pet adoption agencies, groomers, trainers, veterinarians, and many more vendors to see.  Coupon sheets for mall merchants will be available for all participants of the pet fair for a suggested $1.00 donation to the Red Cross.  Of course this event is free and better yet, you can bring your pet!   The “Bow Wows and Meows Pet Fair” is this Saturday, November 7th, 10 am – 4 pm at Chapel Hills Mall, lower level -across from Dick’s Sporting Goods.
