Firefighter to be recognized for saving Chihuahua in fire

The  firefighter who used mouth-to-snout resuscitation to revive a little dog last month will be recognized tonight by Dreampower Animal Rescue.
 No people were in the home when the fire broke out on January 24th near Colorado Springs.   Three dogs were saved from a house fire in the 19-hundred block of Chamberlin South.

This afternoon a near tragedy turned into a heroic story when a local firefighters pulled some little dogs out of a burning house to safety. One little dog even needed “snout to mouth” resuscitation after he was found unconcious and struggling to breathe.

A little Chihuahua’s million dollar  looks will soon help a lot of  dogs in Colorado.  The adorable pooch from Parker won the “cutest dog competition” from the All American Pet Brands Company.   The prize for winning; one million dollars!  But Instead of keeping the money, his owner decided to give it away.
