Firefighter killed by her own dog

A suburban firefighter and paramedic from the Chicago area was found dead in her home.  Investigators say she died as a result of an attack by her own dog, a Mastiff.

Dogs stuck in gold mine are out and back home

       Two dogs that were trapped in a gold mine shaft near Cripple Cripple have gotten out and animal control took them home.
Yesterday rescuers were trying to coax the dogs out of a Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine with   food, treats and water. It didn’t work.
