Man arrested after stabbing puppy in the face

DENVER – Police have taken into custody a man they believe stabbed a female American Bulldog in the face.
Denver Police say Matthew Davon Weatherspoon was arrested Monday morning. He is being held for investigation of felony animal cruelty.
The dog is a 6-month-old American Bulldog puppy named Diamond. Authorities say she suffered from multiple stab wounds.

Couple formally charged with felony animal abuse

     Felony animal cruelty charges were filed today in Fairplay against the Park County couple accused of starving nearly a hundred of sled dogs.
A Park County Court Clerk tells us Samuel and  Diane Ealker appeared in court today and  they both face 28  counts…..including six for  felony aggravated cruelty to an animal
