Dog lovers won’t want to miss the Colorado Springs Kennel Club Dog Show going on this weekend.

Firefighter to be recognized for saving Chihuahua in fire

The  firefighter who used mouth-to-snout resuscitation to revive a little dog last month will be recognized tonight by Dreampower Animal Rescue.
 No people were in the home when the fire broke out on January 24th near Colorado Springs.   Three dogs were saved from a house fire in the 19-hundred block of Chamberlin South.

Three people who say they need their pit bulls for their disabilities are suing Denver and Aurora for banning the breed.
The class-action lawsuit filed in federal court in Denver Wednesday seeks more than $75,000 in damages for Glenn Belcher, Allen Grider and Valerie Pitz. The cities have banned the dog breeds.
