A German Shepherd named Amanda has touched the city of Temuco, Chile after she carried her five 10-day old puppies to safety following a house fire on Thursday.
According to Soy Temuco, the dog rescued her pups by picking them up with her snout and placing them on a fire truck.

The 14th annual Romp in the Park will take place Saturday, August 11th at the Norris-Penrose Event Center (indoor arena).

Yesterday afternoon Westminster Fire Department responded to an emergency call of a dog in the pond at Faversham Park (6109 W 73rd Ave).
The crew arrived to find a small dog in the icy pond that couldn’t get out. The fire crew from Westminster Fire donned ice rescue gear to safely get the dog out.

While visiting Colorado Springs last month a Colorado Dog Blog reader spotted a very strange creature.
The Indiana man sent this picture and we joked that it looked like a Chupacabra, but I am pretty sure it is actually is a rare, hairless breed of dog known as Xoloitzcuintli (pronounced show-low-eetz-kwint-lee), or a Mexican Hairless.

A family in Colorado Springs is hoping that you may have seen their dog Trooper.
Trooper had just been adopted by his new owners five days before his ran away. Trooper apparently was spooked during a walk at Bear Creek Park and slipped out of his harness on July 15th.
