DENVER – Police have taken into custody a man they believe stabbed a female American Bulldog in the face.
Denver Police say Matthew Davon Weatherspoon was arrested Monday morning. He is being held for investigation of felony animal cruelty.
The dog is a 6-month-old American Bulldog puppy named Diamond. Authorities say she suffered from multiple stab wounds.

Billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has announced his latest acquisition — a puppy.
Of course, Zuckerberg, 26, and his girlfriend Priscilla Chan created a Facebook profile for their new dog, “Beast.”
