Denver – They didn’t know each other, but they were brought together by a dog they had seen in a photograph.
The picture of the dog, a female German shepherd named Missy, was posted on a website along with a message about the dog being injured and stranded near Mt. Bierstadt at around 13,000 feet.

Dogs stuck in gold mine are out and back home

       Two dogs that were trapped in a gold mine shaft near Cripple Cripple have gotten out and animal control took them home.
Yesterday rescuers were trying to coax the dogs out of a Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine with   food, treats and water. It didn’t work.

Updates from the search and rescue teams in Haiti

Yesterday I posted some pretty cool news about the canine search and rescue crews in Haiti.
