Colorado Springs girl gets new service dog

The 12-year old daughter of an Army soldier is being given the gift of a service dog this weekend.
Cameron Biebuyck was diagnosed with Spinal Bifida at birth and is in a wheelchair. Now she will be given a “Canine Assistants” service dog.

Man gets maximum jail sentence for dog abuse

The man accused in the abuse of nearly 100 sled dogs in Park County back in 2009 was sentenced in court today, and received the maximum jail sentence.
Last December Samuel Walker pleaded guilty to Felony Aggravated Animal Cruelty.
